FEM analysis & kinetodynamics
Kinetodynamic Analysis allows simulation of mechanisms made up of multiple interconnected rigid bodies, calculating system’s kinetic and dynamic properties. These results, along with constraints and external forces, define boundary conditions for Finite Element Analysis (FEM) on mechanism’s components.
FEM analysis provides a virtual simulation of a prototype, created from a 3D CAD model with known mechanical and material properties. Model undergoes static strength tests, such as tension, compression, or torsion, to assess its engineering behavior. Over past twenty years, structural calculation software has played a key role, with many companies relying on structural analysis and simulations to verify product feasibility.
Structural analysis is a valuable tool that enhances technical expertise and contributes to development of better products. At CHORA, we perform routine checks and standardized analyses, as well as provide external consulting services for solving advanced engineering challenges.
