Industrial design is the point where idea, function, and industrialization come together. It is not limited to a product’s appearance, but also involves its technical feasibility, performance, and integration into manufacturing processes. CHORA supports companies and development teams in industrial product development, covering design, engineering, and technical validation with a practical, production-oriented approach.

The process begins with an analysis of the concept and functional requirements, translating technical and operational needs into coherent design solutions. Through 3D modeling and surface development, we define form, volumes, and product architecture while maintaining a constant balance between design intent, functionality, and manufacturability.

Product visualization plays a key role in the early development stages. CHORA produces photorealistic renderings and technical animations that allow evaluation of proportions, clearances, and functional features before physical manufacturing. These tools improve project communication and help reduce unnecessary iterations.

When required, project moves into rapid prototyping. Using 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques, we produce physical prototypes for dimensional, functional, and assembly checks, selecting the most effective approach based on the product’s complexity and development goals.

CHORA also operates in reverse engineering, analyzing existing products to understand their structure and operation, reproduce them, or improve their performance. The process is based on dimensional and technical surveys carried out directly on the original product, either on-site or in workshop. From collected data, we develop parametric models suitable for CAD, CAM, and CAE workflows. Conversion of 2D drawings into 3D models follows the same approach, combining critical analysis with design optimization.

To support product development, we integrate Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and kinematic and dynamic simulations to assess structural and dynamic behavior, validate design choices, and reduce risk before physical realization.

When necessary, CHORA provides technical support for intellectual property documentation, contributing to the preparation of technical content for patent applications, while legal procedures remain the responsibility of specialized firms.
